What Our Clients Say

Testimonials

SMS replaced all our windows in our 1896 Victorian house. A few years ago we had all windows replaced by someone else and they were just awful. We hired SMS to replace them and it was the best job ever. They replaced 16 sash windows and one very large kitchen window, all with wooden frames. The work done was to the highest imaginable standard. I am really very, very impressed with SMS’s work. The work they did was brilliant!

We can’t recommend this secondary glazing enough. Our lounge is warmer and the condensation is gone. I can actually see my garden now.

SM worked for us last year renovating our sash windows. They were easy to deal with, trustworthy and friendly. The work over all was good. I would use them again.

SM Sashes recently completely renovated my very old sash windows. The windows rattled and were draughty. I’d made small wooden pegs and had them wedged to stop the rattling but that didn’t stop the draught!! They’ve now been completely refurbished and draught proofed! Will did a brilliant job, including renewing the sills which were old & rotten. In my opinion the cost of this work was very competitive and I’d definitely recommend to others - in fact I’ve already given their number to friends. Overall a very impressive job.

Smooth Movement Sashes work for us as and when required. They always do a very good job. I’ve never experienced any problems with them and their work is very good. They always arrive on time and stick to the promised deadlines. Customers are always satisfied with windows they’ve done.

I would recommend Smooth Movement Sashes to anybody looking for secondary glazing. The process has been fantastic and has definitely made a huge difference to our house. The difference in the sound level is amazing and the house is so much quieter inside.

SM Sashes mended a sash cord and replaced a broken pane of glass of a victorian sash window to a good standard. They were quick, efficient, friendly and trustworthy. They mainly cleaned up after themselves and any bits left (old paint/wood chips which had to be scraped off the window in order to prime it) were easily hoovered. We would use them again or recommend them.

Smooth Movement Sashes recently carried out some draught proofing work on our cottage. The team were very professional. All the work was done efficiently and quickly saving us time and money.

Our intial enquiry was followed up quickly with a home visit ( from Tom) to measure up and a quotation followed shortly which we accepted. On the day of installation Will arrived early and fitted the new windows efficiently without any disruption to ourselves.
